Inspirations
Patrick Rothfuss
Reading Patrick Rothfuss' wonderful Kingkiller Chronicle series and reveling in his ability to weave a fully-textured place with a few deft sentences inspired me to capture the places in my life. I later found that he is an all-around awesome guy.
Jim Brandenburg
Brandenburg's gorgeous Chased by the Light project, tracing northern Minnesota's journey from the fall equinox to the winter solstice in one photographic frame per day, inspired the one moment a day structure of Moments in the Park.
