Trees are mapped and identified as they were present in 2016, the year in which the original 366 moments were written.
Tree identification was based on planting plans for the original 1978 mini arboretum, a vegetation and trail map from the late 1990s, the planting plan for a 2012 Arbor Day event, and current tree identification signs, with some additional assistance from the "Picture This" app.
